My lilies in fabric by Maureen Ashlock

My inspiration is a picture of my lilies starting to bloom each July on stalk with 10 to 13 blooms.

Lilies painted with fabric paint on muslin.  Background over painted with thin mixture of turquoise and white pearl paint.

Design machine  thread painted  with metallics layered over thin batting.  Hand embroidered french knots on petals.

Background hand beaded with matching mint colored seed beads.
